Plants in Bloom

The beautiful wine-colored leaves of cotinus are unfurling on the banks of the lake.
On the lake itself, the waterlilies are in bloom
Erythrina is in full fiery flower in the North American section

Hollyhocks can be seen en masse in the Asian section

The delicate lavender blue of Perovskia makes a startlingly display in the Asian section, just off the main path.

In the North American section, Catalpa bignonioides is showing off its flowers.

And in the Australian section, it's the turn of the eucalyptus to show off its blooms
