Touring the various sections of the Jerusalem Botanical Gardens (JBG) is like touring different geographical areas of the world. This is because while most other botanical gardens are organized by botanical grouping, JBG is arranged according to the plants' geographical origin.
This division enables you to wander from the vegetation of one continent to that of another, and even between some of the different types of vegetation within each continent. Each time you visit, you'll see different plants blooming, from different parts of the world.
Bear in mind that this kind of division enables us to conserve all-important water! Each section and subsection is watered according to own specific, climatic needs.
